Color Trends For Baby Products From Little Giraffe
Once upon a time, people thought that babies should either have pink things if they were girls or blue things if they were boys. That meant you didn't find much color variation in stores or in nurseries. Thankfully, more parents are leaving behind this outdated color stereotype and getting a little more adventurous with the colors they are choosing for their babies. The Little Giraffe line-up of products provides a good sampling of these unique colors that are becoming so popular with new parents.
Rich Chocolate
One of the hottest colors for babies, especially for little girls, is chocolate. And that's not just through Little Giraffe. There has been a definite upswing in available products and in sales for baby items of this color, especially when it is combined with brighter colors.
In the case of the Little Giraffe Chocolate Escape Blanket, the color works very nicely. This particular dark shade is meant to convey a sense of luxury and comfort - much like the way you feel when you eat a delicious, creamy chocolate bar. Plus, chocolate is gender neutral, hides dirt easily, and looks gorgeous with almost any other colors in the nursery so it's a great color pick.
Wysteria
Wysteria is a Little Giraffe signature color. You can find it on blankets and as trim for a number of different items but its purple tones always stand out and make a splash. This is a wonderful color to choose for children.
Kids love the purple shades and are drawn to the colors. Plus, purple is believed to inspire artistic tendencies and creativity which is why artists have always had a fondness for this particular color. The Little Giraffe color is named for a beautiful type of climbing vine that is found in North America and Japan.
Rose
While Little Giraffe's color known as rose is a deeper, darker version of pink, that doesn't mean it lacks other properties that make it an excellent choice for blankets, clothes, and other items. You might think of it as a more luxurious version of plain old pink.
Regardless of how you feel about pink, these shades have a lot of great reasons to be used for your child. For example, pink is a calming color. It improves relaxation and brings a sense of order to the world. Unlike red which is a color associated with strong emotion, pink will make your child feel safe and content whether he or she is snuggled under a Little Giraffe blanket or not.
Mocha
Another popular color is mocha, especially at Little Giraffe. While this may be the color of coffee beans, you don't have to worry about the hue causing your child to act like they've been drinking caffeine. Instead, the color is believed to help them feel more grounded and comfortable because of its natural appearance.
Like chocolate, mocha's color has hidden benefits as well, including matching almost any décor.

Bright Future Giraffe baby blanket?
What store carries Bright Future brand infant items. Specifically, a blanket with giraffes, elephants & lions? I know someone looking for a back-up -- it's her child's security blanket -- and she doesn't know where it was originally purchased.
Looks a lot like a Carter's print.
I thought that too, Barbara.
Couldn't find anything when I went to look, though.
Already scoured ebay looking for it. It's this print, if the link works: http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o224/KelliM822/FSOT/BrightFutureBlanket.jpg
Hi there. I believe JC Penney carries that line. Let me look and see if I can find a blankie that fits such a description....
ETA: Well, it looks like Penney's doesn't carry that line in their online stores, but I know they have it because we have a stuffed bear with a rolled up blanket made by that company, and it had a JC Penney sticker on it. I was going to post the same link the person below me did. It's possible the item is out of production...I think they change designs pretty frequently.
ETA, again: This website seems to indicate Bright Future no longer exists...or no longer makes baby blankets...? Read the question, then scroll down to see the poster's answer....this was from September of this year.
