Baby Shower Favors Should Match Your Baby Shower Decorations
Baby shower favors are a must-have for any baby shower. The purpose of a baby shower favor is to thank the guest for attending the party. Yes, the baby shower is being held on behalf of the mother-to-be and her unborn child, but it's always nice to thank the guest for attending, and for bringing a gift (since nine times out of ten, guests bring a gift even if one isn't specified in the invitation).
Baby shower favors often follow the theme of a baby shower or specific party decorations, and are always meant as a small trinket and gesture of appreciation and thanks. Favors are a very important part of a baby shower, so if you are the hostess of the party make sure to include them on your to-do and to-buy lists. The nice thing about baby shower favors is that you don't have to spend a lot in order to give a lot. The best shower favors are the ones that come from the heart, are the most thoughtful and the ones that will mean the most to the recipients.
Once you have your baby shower favors ordered and ready for the party, it's time to set them up. Typically, favors are placed on the party table at each place setting. This ensures that each guest sees and receives their designated shower favor. Baby shower decorations are an equally important part of baby shower planning. Any ideas for inexpensive baby shower favors?
Seems like everything I've found so far has been at least 2$ a piece! With at least 100 people at my shower that seems silly to spend that much on favors!
Anyone have any ideas?

If you are crafty this is what I did for mine.
I bought a pack of Hershey Bars and rapped them with different boy colored paper that you can find @ Wal-Mart and copied baby poems for some and others I put his name on them birthday and a thank you for everyone celebrating his day,you can add baby stickers to the candy bar, I use the little sticky squares in the scrap book section @ Wal-Mart to hold the paper to the candy bar wrapper or you could use whatever works for you. I filled a cute blue Easter basket with these different colored candy bars, Everyone loved them and said they were super cute and they get a treat!
I also bought tea light candles you could also use votives if you wanted, put blue,yellow or green tissue paper in the jar then the candle some a few colored kisses in the jar too and again I used the poems and colored paper on some on the outside of the jar or you could slip a poem inside the jar, also I found the poems on line. You could even try Targets $1 section right when you walk in, they can have cute stuff just right for a shower at times!
