I'm considering using a pacimal (stuffed animal with pacifier attached).?
Did anybody else use one with their baby? How old was your baby? Did the baby like it? Our problem is that our little guy uses a pacifier to fall asleep and is not waking us up to put it back in because he can't get it himself. He's only 5 months old and still needs to suck to put himself asleep. Looks like a great product, but we'd like to know from someone who's actually used one.
I thought about the pacifier leash, but I was afraid it would be a strangulation hazard.
Big whoops...I am SO tired that I wrote that wrong. He IS waking us up to get the pacifier. Yes, I would love it if he just needed it to fall asleep and then would sleep through, but he IS waking us up all the time for it. That's why I'm trying to come up with a way for him to get the paci himself.
I'm not sure I would use one of these. Just like the reason you don't put pillows in the crib, a stuffed animal like this, especially one he can suck on seems like a smothering risk to me.
